The right, in full.
Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 calendar days to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase without giving a reason.
For goods, the period normally begins on the day you — or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier — take physical possession of the goods. If goods from one order arrive separately, it normally begins when the last item is received.
To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your notice of withdrawal before the period expires.
When the 14 days begin
- For one delivery: when you, or a third party you nominate, receive the goods.
- For one order delivered separately: when the last item is received.
- For goods consisting of multiple parts: when the last part is received.
- For periodic delivery over a fixed period: when the first delivery is received.
What happens after withdrawal
Where the right applies, GENEL NØVA reimburses the payments received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered. Extra delivery costs resulting from a more expensive delivery method you selected are not reimbursed.
The reimbursement is made without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after we are informed of the withdrawal, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed at no cost to you.
For sales of goods, we may withhold the reimbursement until we receive the goods or you supply evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after notifying us. You bear the direct cost of the return only where you were informed of that before the purchase, unless GENEL NØVA agrees to bear it.
You are responsible only for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
When the right may not apply
Statutory exceptions are applied only where their legal conditions are met. Depending on the product and the circumstances, they may include:
- goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken;
- goods that, by their nature, become inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery;
- other exceptions expressly provided by applicable law.
Opening a package does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal. The health and hygiene exception applies only to qualifying sealed products, and only once the relevant seal has been broken.
Withdrawal is separate from your legal rights for defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods. Those cases go through Returns & Claims, and this form does not limit them.
